FLYING SAUCER AMERICAN LAGER
In collaboration with Ruby Beach Brewing Company, Jenna was asked to create branding for the Official Beer of the Jacksonville Icemen. Wanting to relate the beer name to hockey with a fun twist, Jenna came up with the name "Flying Saucer". The name plays on the iconic "saucer pass", which is when a hockey player throws a pass in the air and makes the puck rotate like a saucer. This combined with a space and alien theme, made for an out of this world branding project. Flying Saucer is now proudly served in multiple Jacksonville bars, at Icemen hockey games, Total Wine & More, and 20 Publix locations.
PACKAGING
In addition to the beer can design, a box design was created to sell Flying Saucer in-stores and at the brewery. This was a fun way to continue the branding and add special designs that are not seen on the cans.
SPECIAL CELLY EDITION: AREA FIFTY WON
A special celly edition of the Flying Saucer was created for the Icemen players exclusively. After every Icemen win, the players receive a case of "Area Fifty Won". When thinking of a name and design for this special beer, Jenna wanted to continue the alien theme and combine that with an Icemen win.
